Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor at Vivacity Medical Centre in Mississauga, ON. The Medical Doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and stay updated on medical advancements and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate and lead a fast growing multi-location Medical Aesthetic Clinic
• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their cosmetic concerns, goals, and medical history. Assess the patient's skin, face, or body to determine the most suitable treatment options.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, taking into consideration their desired outcomes, skin type, age, and overall health. Recommend appropriate non-surgical cosmetic procedures, such as injectables (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers), laser therapies, skin rejuvenation treatments, or other minimally invasive techniques.
• Perform cosmetic procedures, ensuring precision, accuracy, and patient comfort. Administer injections, apply laser therapies, perform chemical peels, and other non-surgical treatments as per the established guidelines.
• Provide comprehensive post-treatment care instructions, including potential side effects and how to manage them. Schedule follow-up appointments to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cosmetic treatments, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Prioritize patient safety and adhere to strict medical ethics. Ensure that all procedures are performed in a clean and sterile environment, and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and valid license to practice
• Proficient in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Experience in a primary care or family medicine setting is an asset
• Up-to-date knowledge of medical advancements and treatments
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in managing and operating a multi-location Medical Aesthetics Clinic
